After passing the State Licensing Exam, the North Carolina Real Estate Commission will issue you a real estate Broker License on “Provisional Status”. You will then be eligible to work for any real estate firm in North Carolina. (The Broker Pre-Licensing Course replaces the old Salesperson Course which was offered in North Carolina for many years until December 2005. Salesperson Licenses are no longer issued in this state – only Broker Licenses.)
